In 1980, Texas came calling when Hansen took a job with then CBS affiliate KDFW channel 4 (now FOX 4) in Dallas.Įd "Uncle Barky" Bark wrote on Ma(presumably in the Dallas Morning News, and reprinted on his blog) that Hansen was fired from KDFW by then news director William Wilson. That led to a job as a sports reporter for KMTV Omaha, Nebraska.
